I graduated from the University of Pretoria with a degree in clinical psychology. After registering as an independent practitioner I worked mainly in neuropsychological assessment, while teaching human physiology at the University of Pretoria.

After teaching post-graduate psychology for a few years, I completed my PhD in psychology through UNISA.
