‘The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new’ - Socrates

Hello, my name is Catherine Govender. I work mainly with people that have been affected by head injuries and neurology-related conditions, offering psychological assessment and therapeutic support. I also provide individual and family interventions for those dealing with conditions such as mood disorders and anxiety.

There are many ways to describe change, but ultimately, the most important description of change is the one that you use to make sense of your experience.

People experiencing change in how their brains work - and those around them - navigate a grief process. Some reach moments of acceptance early on in their journeys, while others find themselves rooted in one of the stages of the journey.

Wherever you find yourself, my role is to work with you to navigate your path toward healing.
